Radu Ionuț

Radu Ionuț is the baritone voice behind SymphoNote, a project built at the intersection of symphonic expression and contemporary live performance.

Trained as a cellist in Râmnicu Vâlcea and at the Faculty of Music of “Transilvania” University in Brașov, he came to know the orchestra from the inside, on the stage of the “Ion Dumitrescu” Philharmonic. The baritone voice developed alongside it, and the meeting of the two led him naturally towards crossover.

Over the course of his career he has developed a style of his own, in which the voice converses with the orchestra rather than dominating the stage, turning every appearance into a moment of connection with the audience.

That approach is what gave rise to SymphoNote: a live symphonic experience that keeps the scale of an orchestra but removes the distance of the classical stage.
